I Love Chocolate...

...and Laney's style!

Laney's Love Affair with the Computer

This is how Laney spends the majority of her mornings when the kids are in school. She loves to play on NickJr.com and DisneyChannel.com. It is still so funny to me to see her looking so grown up navigating the computer like a pro.

Easter

The kids were quite thrilled with what the Easter Bunny brought them this year. Laney got a doll, a Disney movie, and a Disney Princess doll. Corbin & Cade both got Mighty Beans and movies. Cole got the new Percy Jackson book and Payton got her teen magazines she loves. Then they got to hunt for what seemed like hundreds of eggs. All in the all, I'd say the Easter Bunny hit a homerun this year!

A Not So Snowy Snow Day

Evidently we waited TOO LONG to hit the sledding hills. The snow had already mostly melted by the time the kids got there. Oops...

It Doesn't Happen Very Often...

...but sometimes the kids play nicely without even being threatened first! After a nice Sunday afternoon nap, this is what I came downstairs to see. How lovely! Good job guys!

Corbin's Birthday Party

For Corbin's 7th birthday, he chose to have a home party. We played a bunch of games, had a Spongebob pinata, and lots of fun! Of course Corbin got a bunch of great loot as well! We love throwing parties at our house and birthday parties are some of our favorites!

Corbin got the first shot of course!

Even Princess Laney took a few swings

Cole's Medieval Feast

After studying all about Medieval times, the 4th grade had an end of unit celebration in the form of a Medieval Feast. There was jousting, bows & arrows, Chess (yes, it's been around that long), learning calligraphy, and of course really awesome food. The students were encouraged to come in time period costumes so obviously Cole chose something from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He originally wanted to go as the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, but he heard someone else may be doing that so he chose to go as the Black Knight instead.

Delaney's New Hair Cut

Delaney had been asking for "short" hair for about 4 months. After trying numerous times to persuade her otherwise, she finally wore me down and got the opportunity to ask Courtnee to cut it short for her. Here is the end result which she was of course thrilled with.
